I’ve been making these Keto Jalapeno Poppers for a few years now for my gluten-free Hubs. It’s one of the first recipes I made in my Philips Airfryer and it’s stood the test of time. Not only are these Air Fryer jalapeno poppers are keto, low-carb, and gluten-free, you can three simple ingredients to have them on the table in minutes.

Shortly after my air fryer arrived, I was introduced to JD’s Salsa in Seconds. It’s designed to add to a can of diced tomatoes to create…salsa in seconds. While I’ve used it for that a couple of times, what I really like it for is this keto Jalapeno Popper recipe and adding to taco soup. They aren’t paying me to plug them, but JD’s is what I use for this recipe to make it so quick and easy so I’m going to mention it.

You can buy Salsa in Seconds directly from their site for $24.99 + shipping or from Amazon for $29.99 shipped. This container has lasted me years so it’s well worth it in my opinion.

If you don’t want to use a scoop of Salsa in Seconds, you’ll need to create your own blend of the following dried ingredients to taste:

    • Onion
    • Cilantro
    • Garlic
    • Crushed Red Pepper
    • Chili Powder

Add 1 scoop JD’s Salsa in Seconds plus salt to taste (I love pink Himalayan salt for the strong flavor. A little goes a long way!) to 4 ounces of plain goat cheese. I buy my goat cheese from Aldi.

Deseed 5 medium jalapeno peppers and slice in half. Spoon goat cheese mixture into each one.

Place in Air Fryer and cook at 350 for 5-8 minutes or until cheese is browned and peppers are soft.

I like my Air Fryer keto jalapeno poppers to be soft, almost like a chile relleno. Hubs prefers them a little crisper so I usually divide into two batches and cook mine for 8 minutes and his for 5.
