Spring is here and thanks to the time change I’m feeling more energized and sociable. How about you? I have a lot of spring gatherings planned, and where there are gatherings there will be food! (At least here in the South.) Thankfully, I have an easy recipe that will be my go-to for these affairs: 4-Ingredient Garlic Dip!

Dip recipes abound, but this 4-Ingredient garlic dip recipe is one of the simplest and tastiest you will make. You can easily lighten it up too for a "better for you" option!

You can make this dip absolutely sinful (no judgment here!) or lighten it up with a “better for you” version. Use Ranch or a Light Ranch dressing as either will make your garlic dip delightful. Best of all, it only takes minutes to make so if you keep the ingredients on hand, you’ll always be prepared for your next get-together.

    4-Ingredient Garlic Dip

    Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened (choose light or regular)

1 cup ranch dressing – either homemade or the refrigerated kind from the deli section of your grocer.

    ½ cup dried onion

    2 tablespoon minced garlic

    Directions

Use an electric mixer to whip onion and garlic into the cream cheese. Add ranch dressing and beat lightly until combined. Serve with bread or tortillas chips or choose pretzels and vegetables for the lighter option.
