Ingredients
Peanut oil for frying

flour

cup
cornmeal
1
tablespoon
Creole seasoning
like Tony Chachere

lb
green beans
trimmed
1
cup
buttermilk or "sour cream wash"

For Sauce
½
cup
sour cream
2
tablespoon
prepared horseradish
1
teaspoon
Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
Pour oil into an iron
skillet
to a depth of 1.5"-2" and heat to 375 degrees (this is medium heat on my stove with an iron skillet)
In a medium bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, and creole seasoning
Dip
green
beans in buttermilk then dredge in flour mixture to coat
Fry in batches until crisp and golden brown, approximately 3-5 minutes
Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
Serve warm
Make the sauce by whisking together sour cream, horseradish, and Worcestershire sauce. Serve chilled
