Wash each potato and scrub with a brush if needed.
Pierce each potato a few times with a fork.
Spread or spray olive oil onto each potato and use your hands to spread it evenly all over.
Sprinkle salt on each potato and use your hand to spread it evenly all over.
Place the prepared potatoes in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd.
Cook in the air fryer at 400° for 20 mintues. Flip potatoes using a pair of tongs and cook 20 more minutes or until done.
Remove the potatoes from the air fryer using tongs and allow them to cool off slightly.

Protect your fingers by holding half a paper towel in each hand and press inward and upward on each end of each to open them for toppings.
Serve warm and steaming.

Leave plenty of room for air to circulate around the potatoes. As long as they aren't overlapping or crammed in you should be fine.The skins are crispy and delicious so if you don't normally scrub your potatoes to death before baking them since you don't eat the skins you might want to reconsider this time around.
