Funfetti Dip Cheese Ball

Use Funfetti cake mix dip to create a dessert cheese ball to feed a crowd.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup butter softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 ½ cups funfetti cake mix
  • 1 cup sprinkles

Instructions

  • Using an electric mixer, beat butter and vanilla on medium speed until smooth.
  • Gradually add dry cake mix and powdered sugar until mixed well.
  • Wrap dessert dip in a piece of plastic wrap and use your hands to form it in the shape of a ball or disc. Place plastic-wrapped cheese ball in the freezer for 15 minutes.
  • Unwrap and cover the the cheese ball in sprinkles, pressing down gently to make them stick.
  • Cover and chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Serve with your choice of cookies, crackers, and fruit for dipping.

Once you're finished you can wrap the ball, sprinkles and all, in plastic wrap and store it in your freezer. The next time you're invited to a potluck or gathering you'll already have something ready to go!
