Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
  • 5 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 2 cups flour
  • ½ cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Cream butter and sugar together.
  • Add vanilla and water.
  • Add in flour, salt, and pecans and mix well.
  • Pinch off walnut-sized pieces of dough, roll into a ball, then shape into a crescent.
  • Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes.
  • While still warm, roll cookies in powdered sugar.
