Instructions
Cut 8 rectangular pieces from the green crafting felt that measure 4cm x 3cm. These rectangles will be the leaves of the shamrocks. In this project, we will be creating two shamrock hair clips, with each clip having four leaves.
Cut a curvy M-shape on the topmost part of the rectangles. Make sure that the rectangles are oriented in a portrait position before performing this process. Do these for all of the 8 green rectangles.
Double thread the sewing needle with green sewing thread.Sew a running stitch on the opposite side of the curvy part of the rectangle. Link four rectangles together using the running stitch.
Carefully pull the thread to tighten the spaces on the green felt and create a center in between the leaves of the shamrock.
Finally, create the final pull and make a loop to close in the center of the shamrock leaves. There should be no space in the middle.
Generously glue the hair clip of your choice to the middle of the shamrock body.
