Today is my parent’s 36th wedding anniversary and in honor of the occasion, I’m going to provide some happy anniversary messages in case you’re wondering what to write in an anniversary card.
Why? Well, my mother has made a homemade card for my father for every wedding anniversary. The tradition started because they were too poor to purchase greeting cards and she had to get creative! The tradition continues because it’s special and he loves it. If you’d like to create a handmade anniversary hard of your own, check out my free printable one. What to Write in an Anniversary Card
Happy Anniversary Messages (romantic)
I love you for who you are and who I am when I am with you.
Each year with you is sweeter still,
I love now and I always will!
You are my evening star at the end of the day.
Still crazy (about you) after all these years.
It only takes a minute to say I love you, but it takes a lifetime to show you how much.
Good men (women) are hard to find,
Good husbands (wives) harder yet,
I found found both these things in you, my love
The best I’ve ever met!
You’ve taught me to care, and to never stop giving,
You’ve taught me that love is the purpose of living.
If ever two were one, then surely we.
If ever man were loved by wife, then thee. – Anne Bradstreet
If I had my life to live over again, next time I would find you sooner so that I could love you longer.
True love is spending one day getting married and the rest of your life feeling glad you did. I’m so glad I married you!
Nothing in this world could ever be,
As wonderful as the love you’ve given me.
