Walking in Memphis is such a beautiful experience, at least in the downtown area that I got to trek. I haven’t even been to midtown yet so I know more street art in Memphis awaits me. Enjoy some of the street art and installations I got to see while strolling downtown Memphis!
Street Art in Memphis
There’s so much beautiful street art in Memphis that you’ll feel like you’ve had the cultural experience of a museum, all while just getting place-to-place downtown.
Graffiti had broken out of it’s stereotypical mold and become a genuine art form in urban areas.
If you stay at the Comfort Inn Downtown, you’ll be in walking/trolley distance from all of these pieces.
Yarn bombing! What a fun way to pretty up this chain link fence. Love that St. Jude’s has a cameo too.
Even the Memphis Zoo had gotten on board with some art installations while we were there. Check out my Things to Do in Memphis for Families post to see the entire collection of Lego sculptures that were in this traveling exhibit.
