These edible Thanksgiving table favors are perfect to make with kids! Not only are they easy and hold tasty things, but you’ll be able to use up some of that leftover Halloween candy too. It’s a win-win-win. You get to make a Thanksgiving craft with your kids, have something cute for the Thanksgiving kid’s table, and deplete some of that Halloween candy stash. Ready to get started? You’ll just need a few things.
- Mini buckets
- Burlap ribbon or scrap burlap
- Felt Thanksgiving stickers
- Fabric glue
- Fabric Scissors
- Leftover Halloween candy
Start by trimming the burlap to the correct width to wrap around the buckets.
Wrap burlap around the buckets leaving about an inch overlap (It works well to place the frayed end of the burlap toward the top of the bucket where it can stretch where the bucket widens.) and glue using Fabric Fusion, Aleene’s, etc. You’ll want to position the seam at the front of the buckets.
Stick the felt Thanksgiving stickers over the burlap seam and fill with leftover Halloween candy. Ta-da!
