Easy Chicken Skillet Meal

The holiday season is upon us and I don’t know about you, but time seems to be flying! I’m still trying to figure out where October went and I’m afraid if I blink, it will be Christmas Day. Simple, one-dish recipes like this easy chicken skillet meal are a life-saver during this hectic time of year.

Quick and easy recipes that leave you will very little mess are a must if you’re going to keep up with the hustle and bustle. This Easy Chicken Skillet Meal incorporates the flavors of Hemisfares Summer Tomato and Leek Pasta Sauce for a robust taste with simple ingredients.

Easy Chicken Skillet Meal

Ingredients:
1/2 jar Hemisfares Summer Tomato and Leek Pasta Sauce
2-3 cups pasta, cooked
2 chicken breasts, cut into strips
1/4 cup roast cherry tomatoes or sun-dried tomatoes (optional if you want to be fancy!)
Salt and pepper, to taste
3 Tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup Parmesan, or more to taste
Parsley to garnish

Hemisfares pasta sauce

 

Directions:
Preheat oven to 450F
Place 2 Tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Cut the chicken breasts into strips and season well with salt and pepper.

Cook the chicken in the olive oil – in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.

When one side of the strip has browned and the chicken is easy to flip, flip and cook on the over side until browned all over and cooked throughout.
Remove the chicken to a plate and add the pasta sauce and tomatoes to the skillet.
Stir in the pasta and allow to warm through.

Tuck the chicken strips into the pasta and cover with Parmesan cheese.

Place the skillet in the oven for about 3-5 minutes, until the cheese melts.
Garnish with more cheese and parsley.

Chicken Pasta Skillet

  • 1/2 jar Hemisfares Suga alla Caprese Pasta Sauce
  • 2-3 cups pasta, cooked
  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan, or more to taste
  • Parsley, optional garnish
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 450F
